The sweet, sweet sounds of my thirtieth death by cop.

For the weakest opponent in the game, Small Robot sure knows how to jam. This got stuck in my head for quite some time, shall we say.

In the modern world (modern world)
Great leaders resolve their conflicts (their conflicts)
With words...

Words like...
Scum Launcher! (scud launcher!)
Carpet Bombing! (carpet bombing!)
Tomahawk Missile! (Tomahawk MISSILE!)

Lots of soul in it, as promised. Quality isn't the greatest, as expected, but that didn't hamper my experience. Steady without seeming repetitive, just intense enough to keep my attention for 9 minutes rather than letting my mind wander off, but not so intense that it's distracting or tiring to listen to for that long. Great for listening to when it's late at night with the windows open, has a real "midnight" feel to it. In short, I fucking love it.

Thanks alot for the review man, I really appreciate those kind words. Yeah the quality isnt fantastic, but as mentioned it was recorded on an iphone because I have no other means to record at the moment. Glad you enjoyed.

Rock and roll

I jizzed ever so slightly as I listened to this. However, you lose half a star for lacking cowbell.

Nice, punchy beat. Really evocative of running for your life. But in style. I think the snare drums (?) stand out too much in the first 45 seconds and around 1:45, but the percussion develops into something more natural-sounding afterwards, so not too much of a problem. The foot-step-like bass really makes the 1:00-1:20 section. At about 2:30, it somehow feels more like you're being stalked than you are being chased, which is cool.

Vaguely reminds me of Halo BGM (probably the climbing piano scales). This is a good thing :)

I really like it. The backing bells, synths, choir, organs and other things I can't identify are not overused, used only at strategic moments, which I can appreciate. Strikes a good balance between grandiose and quiet, neither overdone nor boring at any moment. The pauses where the strings take over are a nice contrast to the piano.

The ending kind of trailed off, but that's not a big deal for this kind of music.

All I could suggest is slightly less overpowering piano (it sometimes grates at the ears at higher volumes) and a stronger ending. I'm favoriting this.

Faintly amusing for the first five seconds. After this, pure shit sandwich all the way through. Too bad it can't be blammed.

Fantastic. Sophisticated, upbeat and expressive. Sweeping arpeggios clearly carry the song forward. Piano sounds crisp and classy, like a piano should. Background orchestration and percussion is just the right intensity and volume to enhance but not overpower. It really does clarify the beat. I can't think of any ways to improve this. A song neither overengineered nor underdone. Take my fives. Now.
